The whole idea behind this CD actually came from a customer who came up to me after I had a Big Band teaching session at the “Pakefield Keyboard Festival” covering “Big Band Left Hand & Pedals” that I covered on the first CD in the “How Do I Do That Then ??” range of CD’s.
His question was that before you can sound & play like a “Big Band” you need to know which sounds to put together and more importantly which sounds not to. So the idea of this CD was born and my aim was in just over the next 45 Minutes to show you some of the groups of sounds that work together to make a “Big Band Orchestration” on your instrument that I have learnt over the years.
I Hope this will start you off on the path to enlightenment, so until next time keep enjoying your music.
